3 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.3 Eligible boats may enter by completing the Entry Form and the Crew and Boat Information sheet, and sending them, together with the required fee, to NYC, P.O. Box 3661, Lihue, Kauai, HI by July 17, 2009.
3.4 Entries postmarked after July 17, 2009 will be charged a late penalty of $50.00.
4 FEES
4.1 Required fees are as follows:
All Classes $75.00
4.2 The entry fee includes up to two days of slip fees at Ko Olina Marina before the start and at Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor after the finish (on a space available basis at both harbors).

Format Change for The 2009 Waikiki Offshore Series
The original five-day eight-race format is changed to a three-day seven-race race series eliminating the Molokai Race. Based on requests for a shorter program race officials have changed the 2009 format. “We want to create a series that meets the needs of our competitors. A three day Seven-race series will allow our local boats to compete and gives our visiting yachts a challenging regatta and time to spend with their families and friends in Hawaii,” said regatta chair Steve Thomas.

Addendum # 1
1) The “Fuji Sankei Business 1 Waikiki Offshore Series” is a seven race series sailed off
the island of Oahu. The regatta consists the Molokai Race, a 40-mile medium distance
race and six (6) W/L of 9 to 12 nm (total for each race). Entries will be scored
individually. The Organizing Authority for this event is the Wikiki Yacht Club.
2) Delete 4.1.3 Molokai race
3) Change 3.2 to: Late entries will be accepted up to 1700 Thursday July 23, 2009.
4) Delete 3.2 Late entries will be accepted to July 21, 2009 subject to payment of a late entry fee.
5) Change 4.1.1 to: $5.00 per foot. Delete 4.1.3 Molokai Race $3.00 per foot.
6) Change 4.2 to July 23, 2009. Delete “After that date, entries will be assessed an additional $100 late
fee. Late Entry closed July 21, 2009.”

their bulletin boards. Just in case you haven't yet seen this material, here
is the NOR (attached). The race takes place this year on July 31st, leaving from Ko
Olina at 0700 hours. You have until July 17 to enter (without penalty). All
of the information you need is also available on the KCR Website:
